Spencer Hospital is located at 1200 First Avenue East, just one block east of Grand Avenue (Highways 18 & 71) in north Spencer.
The parking lot adjacent to the north of our main entrance is reserved for our patients and visitors. We also invite you to use our Valet Parking services that are available Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Just pull up under the front canopy and one of our valet attendants will assist you. Our Information Desk, located in the main lobby, is staffed with volunteers from Spencer Hospital Auxiliary each Monday through Friday.
If you are registering for Inpatient Services, our Admissions personnel will ask if you want your admission and dismissal reported in The Spencer Daily Reporter. This is a service we provide as some people like their friends and neighbors to know they are hospitalized. However, your privacy is a top priority with our staff members and volunteers. We only release this information if requested by you upon your admission. If you are admitted through the Emergency Department or other means, you may not be asked this question. If you were not asked if you would like your admission reported in the local newspaper and you want it reported, please ask your nurse to contact Patient Accounts to add your name to the list released for publication.
