Education: 
David D. Saggau, M.D., received his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in 1984. An ophthalmology residency was completed at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He served as chief resident and assistant professor at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary in Chicago.
Residency:
In 1990, he completed a retinal fellowship with Cleveland Retina Associates. Since then, Dr. Saggau has been in practice at Wolfe Eye Clinic as a retinal specialist.
Special Practice Interests:
Fellowship-trained retinal specialist, focusing on diabetic eye disorders, macular degeneration and surgical repair of the retina.
