Details:
The Spin “Explore Medicine” day camp is Monday, June 11 through Thursday, June 14 from 1-4 p.m. at Spencer Hospital. Medical topics which will be explored throughout the four-day camp include pharmacy, nursing, rehabilitative services (physical, occupational and speech therapies), athletic training and sports medicine, laboratory, diagnostic imaging, respiratory therapy, surgery and emergency medicine. The format includes classroom time, experiments and tours.
Class size is a minimum of six students and a maximum of 15. The program is free and participants do not need to be enrolled in 4-H to participate. Call Clay County Extension, 712-262-2264 to register or for more information.
