Breast Cancer Walk brings hope and awareness
The ninth annual Walk/Run for Awareness to draw attention to prevention, detection and treatment of breast cancer is set for Sunday, Oct. 5 at 4 p.m. Men, women and children of all ages are encouraged to join the fun walk (or run) which will begin at Spencer Hospital’s Grand Avenue park, proceed down Grand to Leach Park and then back to the hospital for refreshments.
