Recognition of this immense service took place at first Congregational Church of Spencer, Wednesday, April 21, beginning at 9:30 am with a special performance by artists Robert and Rebecca Bluestone. Following the performance, the Recognition Program included a special brunch courtesy of the Spencer Hospital Cafe with service and hospitality provided by Administration staff.
Barb Lewis, Volunteer Services Coordinator, presented the opening greetings and presented the awards. Bill Bumgarner, Spencer Hospital President, welcomed the gathering of over 100 guests.
Spencer Hospital would like to take this opportunity to thank all our volunteers for the service, and smiles that they bring to each of our patients. They work tirelessly without pay and are a considerable importance to individual patients, as well as to the Spencer Hospital organization.
