Our six-bed Intensive Care unit is staffed around the clock by registered nurses, closely monitoring each patient. A wide variety of critical patients receive care in the contained unit, including post-surgical patients, coronary, respiratory, trauma, etc. Approximately 1,000 patients are cared for in our Special Care Unit annually. In addition to patients within the unit, our critical care nurses can also monitor coronary patients via telemetry.
