Soon to be a nursing graduates may apply before you finish your program and prior to boards! Med/Surg position qualifies for a hiring incentive of $15k and Student Loan Repayment Program up to $200/month up to a total of $10k!

Med/Surg is the department to begin your nursing career. You will utilize the skills you have been working to learn throughout nursing school seeing a variety of patients and conditions. Plus, there are opportunities to explore other nursing areas based on your interests.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care in the Med/Surg Department.
Assumes the responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period.
Collaborates with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care.
Must have knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients.

Requirements:

Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems.
Nurse Residency program upon hire
IA RN license will be a contingency of employment
BLS and ACLS are required - inhouse education provided upon hire

Schedule:

As a 24/7 unit nurses will work 12 hr shifts which include days and overnights, holiday, and weekend rotation
Pay incentives are added for nights, weekends, and holidays
Schedule may fluctuate based on the needs of the department
