Central Sterilization is an extremely important department in our Surgery Center! Behind the scences the team cleans, disenfects, sterilizes and repackages all tools (or kits) required to perform the hundreds of surgeries Spencer Hospital performs each month! 

No experience necessary! On the job training! Ability to work in a fast paced team environment with high attention to detail and accuracy are an absolute must! 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for procedures related to cleaning, sterilizing, and assemble of equipment, supplies and instruments for use in medical and surgical interventions.

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• BLS or willing to obtain - onsite training and certification provided once hired 
• Central Sterilization Technician Certification preferred
• High attention to detail 
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Task orientated

Schedule:

• 72 hours per pay period 
• 4 - 9 hour shifts per week
• Start early as 6:30a to 9:30a
• Rotating paid on-call for holidays
• Paid call once a week and every 5th weekend 
• The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department
