Responsibilities:

• Provides health care services, applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment.
• Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics.
• Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

Requirements:

• Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, either college affiliated or hospital trained.
• American Registry of Radiographic Technologists (ARRT)
• Mammography experience preferred
• State of Iowa to practice and administer radiation.

Schedule: 

• 60 hours a pay period
• 8 hour day shifts with occasional 8 hour evening shifts
• Rotating holiday/weekends.
• Call schedule with 6 other Techs
• The schedule may fluctuate based upon needs of the department.
