Responsibilities:
- Provides health care services, applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment.
- Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics.
- Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
Requirements:
Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, either college affiliated or hospital trained.
American Registry of Radiographic Technologists (ARRT)
Mammography experience preferred
State of Iowa to practice and administer radiation.
Schedule:
- 40 hours per pay period.
- 8 hour day shifts with occasional 8 hour evening shifts
- Rotating holiday/weekends.
- Call schedule with 6 other Techs
- The schedule may fluctuate based upon needs of the department.
