Learn About Cancer in Clay County with the Iowa Cancer Registry

We invite you to join us to participate in a discussion about cancer in Clay County! Did you know that Iowa has the second highest rate of new cancer diagnoses in the United States? And rates are rising!

The meeting will include a presentation by staff from the Iowa Cancer Registry to discuss the project’s findings, address cancer concerns specific to Clay County, and explore potential policy changes to support healthier behaviors. The meeting is open to the public and a portion of the time will be dedicated to an open discussion. This will be an opportunity to listen to community concerns and gather feedback that can inform future cancer control efforts.
