Bravery and perseverance are heroic traits and also traits of people who are successfully managing their diabetes. Attend the "There's a Hero Inside of You" Diabetes Health Fair, coordinated by Spencer Hospital and held at Hope Reformed Church. Doors open at 4 PM and participants will have opportunities to visit with health experts, including pharmacists, dietitians, wound care experts and diabetes educator, plus visit with vendors about new products, including the continuous glucose pump. Stop in anytime during the 4-5 PM health fair hour. At 5 PM, a light meal will be served and two physicians - Dr. Matt Humpal and Dr. David Basel - will present valuable health information and be available for questions. The event is free; however, we ask you to pre-register for planning purposes.
