REGISTRATION:
Participants must pre-register one week prior to class.
Spencer Hospital employees register via Healthstream.
Non employees register by calling 264-6142, or send form to Human Resource Development dept at Spencer Hospital. Pre-course reading/preparation is mandatory for this course, no drop-in registration is permitted
PRECOURSE REQUIREMENT:
Log on to the AHA Student Website: www.heart.org/eccstudent and enter the code “pals15” to complete the pre-course self-assessment. Complete the pre test prior to class with a passing score of 70% or greater. Print a copy of the online certificate of completion and bring it to class with you. If you fail to complete this prior to class you will need to reschedule for a later class date.
FEES:
No registration fee for employees of Spencer Hospital who have Director approval to attend;
Non-employees & Spencer Hospital employees without Director approval to attend: $225 (fee includes PALS text). $175 if the participant has access to the PALS text. The participant must have access during the course to the PALS manual.
