Sports Medicine Northwest
Don’t let a sports-related injury impact your long-term success! The expert athletic trainers of Sports Medicine Northwest place an emphasis on prevention and appropriate treatment and rehabilitation of sports-related injuries.
Our staff of five Certified Athletic Trainers works with 22 high schools in northwest Iowa, providing weekly visits and event coverage. Additionally, our team works with Buena Vista University athletics. Benefit from receiving care from a sports medicine specialist who is specifically trained to help restore function after sports-related injuries.
Injury Evaluation Clinics
A free Saturday morning assessment clinic is offered to student and adult athletes alike beginning each fall through the end of winter sports season. If needed, additional testing, such as x-rays or diagnosing imaging, may be required and will be billed through insurance. Clinics begin at 9 AM, located at Spencer Hospital.
