Quality, courteous and compassionate care is our goal. However, if a patient has a concern, we want to address it. Our patient representative welcomes calls from patients, current or past, who want to share a concern about their hospital care.
Inpatients and emergency department patients are encouraged to complete the patient survey they receive upon dismissal. Patients or family members with concerns are encouraged to contact our patient representative Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. by calling (712) 264-8300 extension 6208. Expressing a concern to Spencer Hospital's Accrediting Organization
Spencer Hospital is accredited by the Center for Improvement in Healthcare Quality (CIHQ), a national accreditation organization sanctioned by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
