Spencer Hospital's First Baby

Founded in 1914, Spencer Hospital officially opened in mid-January 1915. On Jan.19, 1915, Jens and Selma Swanson traveled to the hospital by bobsled where Selma gave birth to baby Esther

The Norman Triplets

Dr. E.E. Munger Sr. delivered Rose, Lily, and Violet Norman, daughters of Mr & Mrs. Jack Norman, on Easter Sunday, April 12, 1903. The girls are believed to be the first triplets born in Spencer
