  • Spencer Hospital Welcomes Babies from A-Z

    posted on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 “What's in a name?” is the question Shakespeare's Juliet asks, yet any new parent will attest, lots of contemplation goes into finding just the right name for their newborn. In reviewing Spencer Hospital Birth Center records for 2019, the nearly 250 babies born at the hospital were granted a variety of special names, ranging from A to Z, starting with Aaralynn and concluding the alphabet with Zaylie and Zoe.

  • Greenville Couple Welcomes Spencer Hospital's First Baby of 2020!

    posted on Thursday, January 2, 2020 Elizabeth Essick and Justin Hofmeyer of Greenville welcomed their first baby - and the first baby born at Spencer Hospital - on New Year's Day. Their sweet baby - Owen Kenneth Hofmeyer - born was born at 1:07 PM January 1.
