Emily Jacobs is a Speech and Language Pathologist at Spencer Hospital. Emily graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences and a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology. Emily works with both children and adults with speech, language, swallowing, and voice disorders.

Celebrate Better Hearing and Speech Month in May
May is Better Hearing and Speech Month. At Spencer Hospital, our speech therapists work with individuals of all ages in the inpatient and outpatient settings. Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults.
